Incredibly Accurate and Natural White Light

The NOVA II 2×1 has a wide range of tunable white light with the best SSI performance to emulate tungsten, daylight, and everything in between. The BLAIR-CG light engine offers a tunable white range from 1,800-20,000K with full 100% MITC +/- Green adjustment. The Indigo emitter activates natural fluorescence for lifelike colors, and a new Deep Red emitter improves skin tone reproduction.

Colors Never Before Achieved in a Panel

The BLAIR-CG light engine in the NOVA II 2×1 covers the greatest range of saturated colors of any panel light. The expanded BLAIR-CG light engine covers more than 90% of the Rec.2020 color space. There are four blues and two reds, including Deep Red, for increased gamut and saturation. Using x,y and HSIC+ modes, dial in precise colors to match products, create backdrops, and even dial in perfect greenscreen or bluescreen keys to match your camera’s sensor.

The Brightest Light, Direct or Diffused

The NOVA II 2×1 delivers a direct 35° beam which remains bright when diffused, providing increased versatility.

The secret to this performance is a unique three-part “focus-then-blend” optical formula. First, focusing TIR lenses are placed over LED emitter clusters. Then, these clusters are kept small and packed at a high density on the panel for increased output. Lastly, these lensed emitter clusters are arranged in a complex neutralizing pattern to produce bright, even light with no visible color fringing on subjects.

Aputure introduces the NOVA II 2×1 RGB LED Light Panel, its most powerful light in the NOVA series. A design well suited for the most complex on-set workflows, at its core lies the Aputure BLAIR-CG chipset that makes the NOVA II 2×1 a versatile full-color LED panel for professional film, television, and broadcast lighting environments. With 1000W of power, the NOVA II 2×1 uses high CRI-, TLCI-, TM-30-, SSI-, CQS-rated LEDs to render colors with optimal accuracy. Color is widely variable from 1800 to 20,000K meaning you can take creative control of the color range, along with plus/minus green shift, to achieve great color precision.

Among the NOVA II 2×1’s features is reliable and advanced control. Users can opt for the intuitive onboard or app control, or go with 16-bit DMX512 in/out, LumenRadio CRMX, Art-Net/sACN, as well as USB or DMX batch firmware upgrades. Experience multiple dimming curves, four fan modes, and dual output modes with max and constant settings. Another fact that will impress gaffers and lighting technicians is a direct front-mounting accessory system that reduces the complexity of mounting slide-in modifiers by providing a quicker light shaping solution. Finally, a rugged IP65-rated body was attentively engineered for the most demanding productions. Here, Aputure includes a conveniently removable yoke, a flat diffuser, and a 19.6′ long AC power cable.

Impressive Output

The NOVA II 2×1 has a native 35° beam angle with a brightness of 219,060 lux at 3.3′ and 5600K, and it features smooth stepless dimming for adjusting light output from 0.1 to 100% with four dimming curves: linear, exponential, logarithmic, and S-shaped. This 27.2 x 15.3″ LED panel is actively fan cooled and offers four DMX-controllable fan modes: smart, high, medium, and silent.

Impressive Color Accuracy

Industry-leading fidelity metrics and high color accuracy ratings ensure the NOVA II 2×1’s ability to faithfully reproduce colors. With CRI 95, TLCI 95, TM-30 Rf 95, and Rg 100, the fixture ensures natural and lifelike rendering that’s ideal for color-critical applications. Other noteworthy ratings include: CQS (CIE D5600) 96, SSI (P3200) 89, and SSI (CIE D5600). The light also provides advanced white point control with green/magenta color correction by +/-G at a 100% to conform with the full ASC MITC standard.

BLAIR-CG Chipset
